Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery Association

Monthly Meeting

February 09, 2002

Meeting was called to order at 1:20 P.M. by Clarence Ward at Carver School Grounds.

Attendance:

Clarence Ward--President
Beverly Wright--Alternate Board Member

Discussions:

Clarence to go ahead and get the $250.00 check for the scholarship fund and deliver to the Brackett Independent School District. First scholarship fund to be in the name of Marilyn Spencer.

Clarence is also, as discussed in the last meeting, to go ahead and figure up the materials needed to finish the inside of the toilets, collect a check, purchase the materials, finish the toilets with the help of the male members. He should also try to purchase the cleaning materials for the toilets.

If possible, locks should be purchased and put on the toilets today.

Members need to get together and see about the cleaning of the school grounds.

The seminoles will be participating in the Fort Clark Festival on March 8 and 9th. SISCA will be selling BBQ plates......The female members need to get together and decide how they want it done.

The $150.00 check, as discussed in the last meeting, has been given to the BISD Marker Fund. The last word, or rumor, for a date for the installation of the marker on the camp grounds in the fort is for SISCA seminole days in September. A final decision has not been made yet.

Reminder:

Meeting is the second Saturday of every month. God willing.

Clarence Ward, President
