Went straight to business at hand:

Historical marker that Brackett High School History Club was working on for the camp ground in Fort Clark Springs has been approved. The club is short of $150.00. The association agrees to pledge the money. We all agree to meet again when the wording arrives for the marker and also to agree on a proper date for installation of the marker, so that all friends and other members along with the media may be notified of the event.

Kathy and Erica were thanked for joining us.

Deadline for the application to sell BBQ at Fort Clark festivals, March 8 and 9, is January 31. Not enough members present to decide. May not be participating in the festival this year.

It was reevaluated and agreed that the bathrooms are a problem and should have been finished long time ago. The president should be given a check, funds permitting, to buy the last remaining few items for the toilets, including paint, and get it done now, with the help of Douglas and Joe. NOW.

Now that weather is permitting, members should take it upon themselves to try to clean the school grounds--the leaves are really a mess. The cemetery is mostly dry and does not look to bad as a whole.

On January 25th at the Institute of Texan Cultures in San Antonio, there will be a movie about, I believe, the Seminoles. Coffee and cookies will be served from 6 to 9:00 PM and the movie is from 7 to 8:00 PM. For further or more precise information please contact Anita Daniels of San Antonio at 210-558-8150.

Meetings are the second Saturday of every month at 1:00 PM. For verification of meetings and where held, please contact Clarence at :
