Coax Internet Services has written, tested and implemented a service to allow our users to get their email from a web page instead of from software on their computer. Just surf to webmail.coax.net/webmail instead of www.coax.net.
This service requires a user name and password to secure each users email. Current Coax Internet Users can obtain their email by clicking on the "Web E Mail" at the top left of each Coax Internet Services web page.
This email program provides a second level of security against email virus's by allowing the user to see the topic and the name of the sender of the email before reading or downloading the email information to their computer.
Even reading the email from the web page will not download it to the users computer, thereby preventing the infection of the users computer with any virus' that may have come in the email.
